Day to DayYou will be responsible for researching and delivering innovative, robust computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software solutions. Your focus will be to invent solutions enabling design engineers to interact with fluids simulations in real-time. Our ideal candidate approaches complex problems with an analytical mindset firmly rooted in engineering first principles. You will be coordinating work with teammates through daily standups, authoring new code, supporting testers, and interacting with other members of the larger generative solution team as needed delivering novel, robust fluids solutions.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge: 

  • Deep knowledge and experience of fluids dynamics algorithms; Experience with general FEM and Immersed boundary methods required.
  • Ability to understand complex engineering principles to effectively communicate with users, understand their work, and translate requirements into software solutions
  • Strong foundation in computer science, data structures, algorithms
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Postgraduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, other) or Physics.

Preferred Experience: Computational mechanics with a specialization in CFD is a plus. Equivalent software industry or research experience implementing CFD methods is also considered.
